Obituary for Leroy R. Miller

Leroy R. Miller, 82, of Lebanon, died Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Spang Crest, Lebanon.

He was the companion of Betty L. Morgan.

Born in Marion Twp., PA on August 4, 1934, he was the son of the late Raymond C. and Florence M. (Bobb) Miller.

A graduate of Hamburg High School, he was employed as a forklift operator at Rockwell Collins, Wyomissing, for 35 years until his retirement. Leroy was a member of the Oakbrook Fire Co. No. 14, Reading, the United Steelworkers of America, and a life member of the Goodwill Fire Co., Myerstown, Mt. Aetna Fire Co., and the Richland American Legion Post 880.

In addition to his companion, Betty, Leroy is survived by Betty's daughters, June, wife of Paul Dinger, of Lebanon, Martha Morgan, of Florida; Betty's son, Thomas, Sr., husband of Leslie Morgan, of Myerstown; Betty's seven grandchildren; Betty's eight great-grandchildren; and cousins, Harold, Star, and Barbara.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 12 p.m. Interment will be at Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Womelsdorf.
